Duikerskloof Exclusive Tented Camp

Duikerskloof Exclusive Tented Camp is situated just 100km from Northern Johannesburg and Pretoria, within the Magaliesberg Biosphere in the mixed bushveld of the Buffelspoort Valley. It offers self-catering accommodation in tranquil surrounds. Each unit has been uniquely crafted for comfort and pleasure. Hiking in the beautiful Magaliesberg and activities at the Buffelspoort Dam are easily accessible from Duikerskloof. Birding, mountain biking, Canopy Tour ziplining, and golf are also popular activities in the area.

The Karee Tent is tucked under an ancient Mountain Karee tree (Searsia leptodictya), with views over the Buffelspoort Dam and across the Magaliesberg range. Facing west, it offers spectacular sunsets from the wooden deck and adjoining braai area. Impala, duiker, and nyala graze in the close surrounds, especially in the late afternoon. The Karee Tent is equipped with a queen-size bed.

The Bushwillow Tent faces northwest and is enchantingly hidden amongst beautiful trees, including a mighty Bushwillow (Combretum zeyheri). From the open-plan kitchen and living area, one has a commanding view of the Buffelspoort dam and easy access to the swimming pool. An adjoining braai area provides the perfect setting to enjoy a sundowner while watching the wildlife grazing nearby. The Bushwillow Tent is equipped with two queen-size beds.

The Jacketplum Tent faces southwest and is located in a grove of indigenous trees, including a Jacketplum (Pappea capensis) renowned for its strikingly red fruit u2013 a firm favorite with many of the diverse bird species found here. With views of the Magaliesberg and Buffelspoort dam, the Jacketplum Tent also features a secluded braai area u2013 the perfect place to relax. It is equipped with two queen-size beds.
