Artists Cottages offers luxurious self-catering accommodation in two distinct South African locations: Dullstroom, Mpumalanga, and Gordon's Bay in the Western Cape.
The Dullstroom property, known as The Artists Cottages at Le Quartier, consists of four uniquely themed self-catering cottages named after renowned artists: Picasso, Renoir, Monet, and Van Gogh. Located in the heart of Dullstroom village, these cottages are within walking distance of designer shops, upmarket restaurants, and classic pubs. Each cottage features commissioned local artwork reflecting its namesake artist's style.
Three of the cottages (Picasso, Renoir, and Monet) are single-story units, while Van Gogh is a double-story cottage. All accommodations feature two bedrooms, one bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen/lounge area. Each unit is equipped with a Jetmaster fireplace, fully fitted kitchen, and braai (barbecue) facilities. The cottages can comfortably accommodate four guests each.
The Gordon's Bay property is a recent addition to the portfolio, featuring two self-catering suites: the Sugar Bird Suite and Whale Watchers Suite. These oceanfront accommodations offer stunning views and modern amenities within a residential setting in the charming harbor town.
Both locations offer diverse activities for guests. Dullstroom provides opportunities for fly-fishing, horseback riding, hiking, and bird watching, while Gordon's Bay offers beach activities, whale watching (seasonal), and easy access to Cape Town's attractions. The properties are strategically located, with Dullstroom serving as an ideal stopover between Gauteng, Kruger National Park, and Mozambique, and Gordon's Bay situated just 30 minutes from Cape Town.
