Dune Ridge Country House

Dune Ridge Country House is an award-winning accommodation situated between coastal fynbos and dune fields on the outskirts of St Francis Bay and Cape St Francis in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. The old homestead, reminiscent of an old farmhouse, merges the breathtaking natural world of Africa with colonial nostalgia and modern sophistication, offering a unique coastal and bush getaway.

The guesthouse, built in the early 2000s using local and recycled materials, features reed patio ceilings, a stone fireplace and walls, and beautiful oregon pine flooring. It features a tranquil environment with large secure gardens, a private swimming pool area, dune and coastal forest walks, evening frog safaris, an in-house treatment facility, and a bush spa.

Dune Ridge Country House and its staff are conservation-conscious, ensuring minimal environmental impact and practicing Fair Trade Principles. The produce utilized in the guesthouse is sourced from their own gardens or locally, and waste is separated and recycled, with wet matter being used for organic fertilizer production.

With six double rooms and a Family Cottage, the property welcomes children of all ages and caters to their needs. It can accommodate up to 40 guests for intimate garden weddings or events in a marquee. Guests can enjoy an authentic Bush Spa Experience, with a variety of treatments including massage therapies, facials, and nail services. Wellness retreat packages, such as yoga and reiki, are also available.
