Dune View Cottage Sodwana Bay

Dune View Cottage is a self-catering accommodation situated in Sodwana Bay. It is a comfortable upstairs cottage that offers a paradise for scuba divers and nature lovers. The cottage is located high on a hill, providing sweeping views of the dunes and a nearby lake.

The property is approximately 1.5 kilometres from the main road, and the access road is a single sand track. While a 4x4 vehicle is not required, low clearance cars are not recommended. There is another holiday home on-site, but guests have an electric gate and a private entrance. Additionally, the property is surrounded by an electric fence.

Although the cottage has a rural setting, it is not far from the town and is situated between other houses. The open-plan cottage features two single beds or a king-size bed. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, and bath towels are provided. The lounge area includes a TV with Netflix.

The kitchenette is furnished with a fridge-freezer, microwave, two-plate gas hob (no oven), kettle, and toaster. There is a large deck that is partially covered with a gas grill. The cottage also features a ceiling fan and air conditioning. Daily servicing is available upon request, except on Sundays and public holidays.

Guests can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere while taking in the views of the Jesserpoint Lighthouse in the distance and exploring the surrounding area. It is important to note that regular power failures may occur, during which the water pressure may also be affected. A generator can be run for an hour or two in the morning and evening, allowing guests to shower and charge their devices. Cooking can be done on the gas hob and gas grill, but the air conditioning cannot be operated using the generator.
