East Africa Safaris

East Africa Safaris is a resort destination located on Mozambique's scenic east coast, approximately 250km north of Maputo. The property is nestled among coastal dunes and inland lakes, offering visitors a unique blend of natural attractions and recreational activities.

The resort can accommodate up to 150 guests in self-catering units, with various room and chalet configurations sleeping between 2 to 16 people. All accommodations are serviced and include linen and bath towels. The property features a restaurant with an à la carte menu specializing in seafood and pizzas, capable of seating approximately 100 people. The establishment includes a casual beach bar equipped with entertainment facilities such as a pool table, dart board, and a big-screen TV with DSTV for sports viewing.

The facility offers numerous activities including boat launching, deep-sea fishing charters, bird watching, quad biking, snorkeling, and safe swimming areas. The location is particularly notable for whale watching during winter months and provides excellent rock and surf fishing opportunities.

Resort amenities include 24-hour security with guards at entrances and patrol services, full Vodacom and Movitel network coverage with GPRS internet access, 24-hour electricity with backup generators, and clean water facilities. Additional services include on-site medical facilities, credit card acceptance, and a shop providing basic supplies.

The climate varies seasonally, with a rainy season from October to April (temperatures 27-29 degrees) and a dry season from May to September (temperatures 18-20 degrees). The resort's central location makes it an ideal base for regional excursions, and it is suitable for conferences and weddings. Several restaurants are accessible in the surrounding area, including Nascer Do Sol, Paraiso De Chidenguele, and Zona Braza.
