Eco Karoo Mountain Lodge

The Eco Karoo Mountain Lodge is a 4200-hectare eco-retreat located in the Great Karoo region, providing a serene and sustainable experience for guests. It is situated at the base of the Joostenberg Mountains to the west and surrounded by vast plains to the east, offering breathtaking views and a sense of tranquility.

The lodge features exquisite cabins equipped with private patios, BBQ areas, cozy fireplaces, and en-suite bathrooms. Guests can indulge in the convenience of a fully equipped Eco Lodge, which includes a state-of-the-art kitchen, an open-air kitchenette, and two BBQ areas with a mesmerizing fire pit. The expansive Lounge area offers a dining room, an indoor fireplace, and a refreshing deck pool.

Eco Karoo Mountain Lodge prides itself on being an entirely off-the-grid eco-retreat, powered by solar energy and providing fresh aquifer water. This commitment to sustainability allows guests to enjoy the majesty of nature without compromising their environmental impact. The farm's name, Knoffelfontein (Garlic Fountain), is derived from the natural spring found behind the Eco Karoo Lodge, where Wild Garlic flowers flourish abundantly.

The suite at the lodge offers two rooms, one with a king-sized bed and another with two twin beds, which can be converted upon request. Each room features an en-suite bathroom, a private outdoor mountain view shower, and a private patio.
