Ecolodge - Greyton is situated in the heart of the village of Greyton, in the foothills of the Riviersonderend Mountains and bordering on a nature reserve. Greyton is located approximately 35 km off the N2 on good tarmac roads, and about 140 km from Cape Town. The lodge extends a warm welcome to backpackers, mountain bikers, school and church groups, and guests wishing to enjoy all that the village and area have to offer.

The lodge offers 8 dorms with 6 beds each and 6 double/twin rooms. All linen is provided, and hot showers are always available. There is a well-equipped kitchen, so guests have the option of self-catering. The living and dining area features a large fireplace and internet access. Additionally, there is a large private garden and bike storage with washing facilities.

Once a school hostel, the lodge has been revamped with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and has one of the best positions in Greyton. The small rooms, twins, and doubles are in a separate wing, where the headmaster used to live. This wing has its own kitchenette and bathrooms, and all the rooms have mountain views. There are eight dormitories with between six and eight beds. The hub of the village is only minutes away out the front door, and indigenous fynbos is a stone's throw out the back door.

The EcoLodge has hosted a small number of weddings and makes an ideal budget and eco-friendly option. It has a bedouin tent, garden, large reception room, and can organize catering, live music, and all aspects of weddings and wedding receptions. There is plenty of space to play, with television, videos, and the ability to set up a projector to show movies on a big screen. Nearby, there are activities such as river swimming, hiking, cycling, and horse riding.

The Abod is a free-standing off-the-grid dwelling sleeping 2 people. There is a toilet, a shower with a donkey for hot water, and the view of the mountains from the veranda is spectacular.
