Eikelaan Farm Cottages

Eikelaan Farm Cottages is a self-catering accommodation located 5 km from the historic town of Tulbagh and approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes from Cape Town, off the R46. The farm spans 200 hectares and is surrounded by the Witzenberg and Winterhoek mountain ranges.

The farm offers three well-equipped and clean self-catering cottages, overlooking the wheat lands and facing north. The cottages are furnished with indoor fireplaces and air-conditioning units. Each cottage features a large patio where guests can enjoy sundowners and barbecues while taking in the breathtaking views and sunsets. Guests are welcome to partake in various activities on the farm, including walks through the fynbos, bird watching, stargazing, and observing the farm's wine, olive, red Angus cattle, wheat, and oat farming operations.

Families with children can enjoy the cattle farm's new calves during winter months, feeding the ducks at the dam, and utilizing the children's playground with slides, a seesaw, and swings. Additional amenities on the premises include a swimming pool, large lawns suitable for cricket, soccer, and rugby, a table tennis setup, and safe cycling routes. Mobile spa treatments are available within the privacy of the cottages with pre-booking. One of the cottages is a large one-bedroom unit with a private bathroom, patio, a king-size bed in the main bedroom, and a double sleeper couch, making it suitable for family stays. The Ceres Golf Course is located 25 km from the farm.
