Ekhaya Lodge

Ekhaya Lodge is an upmarket bed and breakfast located in Ashburton, just a 10-minute drive from Pietermaritzburg. It is situated close to the N3 freeway to Durban and Johannesburg, which makes it a popular stopover for business travelers and holidaymakers. The lodge overlooks the valleys and surrounding areas of Pietermaritzburg.

The lodge is situated close to Mkondeni Industrial Park and provides a safe and convenient parking space for any industrial motor or vehicle. Accommodation is offered in six comfortable luxurious bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom featuring a shower. The rooms are equipped with DStv, individually controlled air-conditioning, and complimentary tea and coffee-making facilities.

Each bedroom is furnished with two single beds that can be converted into a large double bed. All guests have their own remote for the main gate, allowing them to park their cars within the premises. Each room also has its separate entrance, enabling guests to come and go as they please.

A full breakfast or continental breakfast is served in the dining room, and the lodge offers a shuttle service to and from the airport as well as for local travels. The rooms are en-suite and feature twin beds or a king-size bed, DStv, and complimentary tea and coffee-making facilities. Four of the rooms have a bar fridge and air conditioning, while two of the rooms are equipped with a microwave.
