El Yolo One is a working Karoo guest farm that offers visitors the opportunity to come into close contact with farm animals, game, birds, and interesting flora. It provides a range of activities, including day and night game drives, 4x4 routes, hiking trails, visits to Bushmen rock paintings in three caves, fossil exploration, and access to unpolluted mountain water streams with waterfalls, a farm dam, and a swimming pool.

The farm is a photographer's dream, with opportunities for photography in various settings. It caters to 4x4 enthusiasts, offering severe 4x4 routes as well as moderate routes for those seeking a more relaxed experience. Other activities available include stargazing with a planetarium, bass fishing in the farm dam, target shooting, hang gliding, rock climbing, mountaineering, and cycling (with guests bringing their own equipment).

Accommodation options include self-catering or restaurant facilities, with groups able to hire the restaurant for their own self-catering needs. The wedding venue can seat and cater for up to 120 guests without a dance floor, or up to approximately 75 guests with a dance floor. The farm can sleep up to 35 guests in beds and accommodate an additional 32 guests at the campsite, with guests required to provide their own camping gear. Neighboring farms can also accommodate some guests.

El Yolo One offers 4x4 self-drive routes, hiking trips in the game camp or mountains, remote campsites in the mountains, stargazing opportunities under the Karoo's clear skies, solo hiking trips in nature, sundowners in remote locations, private swimming in the farm dam or mountain pools, and a range of activities for children, including a jungle gym, trampoline, farm animals, swimming pool, table tennis, pool table, games, DSTV, plastic scooters, swings, gymnastic equipment, bass fishing, stargazing with a telescope, and board games.

Accommodation options include a luxury three-star self-catering chalet with a double room featuring a queen-size bed and a sleeper couch, a kitchenette equipped for five guests, an en-suite bathroom, a braai area, a private patio and entrance, and a twin room with an en-suite bathroom, private entrance, and patio with a braai and beautiful view. Bedding, swimming towels, bath towels, and all activities on the farm are included.
