Eland Valley Resort

Eland Valley Resort is nestled in the Southern Drakensberg near Underberg, South Africa, positioned at the foot of the Garden Castle. The 150-hectare property borders the Mzimkhulwana Nature Reserve (KZN Parks Board) and the Mlambonjwa River, a tributary of the Umzimkulu River.

The resort features 14 modern self-catering log chalets set within park-like grounds. Accommodation options include two-bedroom cabins that can host up to six guests (adults and children), as well as one-bedroom cabins designed for couples. All units are fully furnished with linens and televisions, offering complete self-catering facilities with daily maid service. Each cabin includes an outdoor braai (barbecue) area, and gas heaters are available for hire.

The resort provides various amenities including trout fishing, a playground, and a recreational centre with games rooms. Guests can enjoy scenic walks and hikes suitable for both amateur and serious adventurers, along with picnic spots and tubing locations along the river. The property is home to diverse wildlife, including Eland, Reedbok, guinea-fowl, wild duck, and various bird species.
