Elands Bay Beach Cottage

Elands Bay Beach Cottage is a property situated in South Elands Bay, in close proximity to the renowned left surfing wave. It consists of two apartments, both of which share a common living room and kitchen area downstairs. Each unit offers views of the sea and mountain, and is equipped with an en-suite shower and toilet facility. One unit features a double bed, while the other has twin beds.

The living room serves as a shared space, furnished with a gas stove, refrigerator, and some cupboards. Visitors have access to a Webber braai for outdoor cooking, though there is no sink available, only a simple washing-up basin. Recreational amenities, such as a table tennis setup, are available for guests to enjoy, with the expectation that they will treat the facilities as if they were their own.

Directly in front of the cottage, a path through indigenous vegetation leads to the beach, situated approximately 150 meters away. Elands Bay is a natural haven, boasting an abundance of wildlife and over 250 species of birds in the greater Veloren vlei area. The region is rich in history and offers a variety of activities for visitors to partake in, including surfing, windsurfing, kite surfing, cray fishing, beach walks, dolphin and whale watching, birding, exploring bushman paintings at Baboon Point, sandboarding in the dunes, or simply relaxing and enjoying the natural surroundings.
