Elangata Olerai Tented Camp

The Elangata Olerai Tented Camp is a luxury tented camp located in the heart of the Masai Mara National Reserve. It is a striking combination of contemporary style and comfort set amidst the natural surroundings. The Masai Mara National Reserve is home to over 4 million animals and birds, making it one of the largest and most important wildlife sanctuaries not only in Africa but worldwide.

The camp offers an exclusive and unique concept in the community guiding based on the expertise and firsthand experience of the local community members. The camp features 20 tents, each set apart and connected by a paved walkway that winds through the unaltered local habitat.

The tents at the Elangata Olerai Camp are designed with rustic reed blinds, coir carpets, a draped canvas ceiling, and built-in lounge areas, creating a luxurious experience. Each suite has a spacious en-suite private veranda, ideal for relaxing and absorbing the sounds of the Mara.

The camp offers both local and continental meals, which can be enjoyed outdoors with an unobstructed view of the Maasai Mara or within the restaurant. Car hire is available at an additional charge, and on-site parking is allowed. The Elangata Olerai Tented Camp is located within the Maasai Mara National Reserve and is in close proximity to Ololaimatiek Village and Mara Hippo Safari Lodge.
