Elephant Plains Game Lodge

Elephant Plains Game Lodge is an exclusive property situated in the northern part of the world-renowned Sabi Sand Game Reserve, adjacent to the Kruger National Park. The family-owned establishment, which opened its doors in 1998, has been in the same family for over 57 years and maintains an intimate atmosphere by accommodating a maximum of 24 guests.

The lodge is strategically positioned on the dry Manyeleti riverbed, overlooking an open area and watering hole, making it ideal for wildlife viewing. The main lodge features reception areas, dining facilities, a lounge, bar, wine cellar, and curio shop. Additional amenities include two swimming pools, a gym, and a games room.

Accommodation options cater to various preferences, comprising six luxury suites with lounge areas and private decks, five traditional rondavels set in landscaped gardens, and the exclusive Manyeleti Honeymoon Suite. All rooms feature modern amenities including air conditioning and en-suite bathrooms.

The lodge is renowned for exceptional Big 5 game viewing, offering two daily three-hour game drives and guided bush walks. Experienced rangers and Shangaan trackers share their extensive knowledge with guests, providing opportunities to encounter not only the Big 5 but also more elusive species like wild dogs and cheetahs.

For families, the lodge offers a comprehensive children's program including activities such as painting, beading, mini bush walks, and ant farm construction. Special children's menus and babysitting services are available.
