Elephant Valley Lodge is strategically positioned in the Lesoma Valley of Chobe District, Botswana, an area renowned for hosting the world's largest concentration of African elephants. The lodge offers a tranquil retreat away from the busier areas of Chobe, situated on the outskirts of Kasane.
The property features 20 spacious accommodation tents, each equipped with modern amenities including tea and coffee facilities, fans, hair dryers, and charging points, plus en-suite bathrooms. Eight "valley tents" provide panoramic views overlooking the valley and waterhole, while twelve "forest tents" are nestled around the swimming pool area. One forest tent is specifically designed for families, featuring an additional bedroom with twin beds and a full bathroom.
The lodge's prime location allows guests to observe various wildlife at the property's waterhole, visible from the main areas including the boma, lounge, and rim-flow pool. Animals freely move between the Chobe National Park and Zimbabwe's National Parks through the valley.
Activities offered include daily 4x4 game viewing safaris and boat cruises along the Chobe River. Day trips to Victoria Falls in either Zambia or Zimbabwe can be arranged. The lodge provides a comprehensive package including meals, house beverages, Kasane Airport transfers, daily activities, WiFi, and laundry services.
During winter months, the tents can become quite cold, and the lodge provides electric blankets for guest comfort. The property maintains a strong focus on integrating with its natural surroundings, allowing guests to experience authentic wildlife encounters while enjoying modern comforts. Visitors can expect to hear nocturnal wildlife, including hyenas, jackals, and occasionally lions, adding to the authentic African bush experience.
