Elephant Walk Retreat is a family-owned establishment situated on the banks of the Crocodile River, directly adjacent to the Kruger National Park's Crocodile Bridge Gate. The property, which has been a family heritage since the early 1970s, offers unparalleled views across Kruger National Park and the Crocodile River.

The retreat features nine self-catering units ranging from simple chalets to luxurious log cabins, accommodating between three to six adults. True to its name, the property is frequently visited by large herds of elephants following ancient paths along the Crocodile River, offering guests exceptional wildlife viewing opportunities from their private patios and decks.

Located approximately four hours from Johannesburg, the retreat serves as an ideal base for exploring Kruger National Park or as a stopover en route to Mozambique. Its strategic position at Crocodile Bridge Gate allows guests early morning access to the park, with the flexibility to return to their accommodation throughout the day.

The facility offers various amenities including a large swimming pool filled with borehole water and a communal relaxation area. While the retreat is self-catering, breakfast packs are available for early morning safari departures. The nearby town of Komatipoort provides additional dining options, and the Crocodile Bridge Camp's Park Shop is just two minutes away.
