Elfen House

The Elfen House is a luxury self-catering accommodation located in the Karoo region. It offers absolute privacy, comfort, and a tasteful decor featuring cool Karoo shades and reed ceilings that provide a touch of the old Karoo. The house has modern high windows and glass doors that allow natural light to flood the rooms, while air conditioning maintains a comfortable atmosphere during the summer.

The accommodation comprises two spacious en-suite bedrooms. The main bedroom is equipped with a king-sized, extra-length bed and a full bathroom, while the second bedroom offers twin beds and a shower. Both bedrooms open onto a covered veranda that welcomes the morning sun. The house provides feather duvets, electric blankets, white percale linen, and luxurious towels for guests. Additionally, there is an extra guest toilet.

The lounge area is a haven of comfort, featuring a wood-burning combustion stove, a flat-screen TV with selected DStv channels, and a study alcove offering WiFi. The house also has a fluid book collection that operates on a "take one, leave one" library system.

The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking and dining, with a gas hob and oven, a microwave oven, a full fridge/freezer, and a view of the hills and Karoo sky. A dishwasher is also provided for convenience. The house offers a selection of coffees, teas, and homemade rusks.

Glass doors open into an enclosed courtyard that features a daybed, loungers, a splash pool surrounded by wooden decking, and an outdoor shower. The courtyard offers a view towards the foothills of the Swartberg, making it an ideal place to relax and enjoy the lazy Karoo days or have a braai. The night skies in the area are spectacular.

Additionally, the Elfen House has a secluded Elfen cottage on the premises that can accommodate up to two additional persons.
