Elgin Hills Luxury Tented Camp

The Elgin Hills Luxury Tented Camp is situated among picturesque wooded hills bordering the Palmiet River. Upon arrival, guests are stunned by the natural beauty of the estate, which features more than 7 km of river frontage. The luxury tents feature double or queen-size beds comfortably accommodating two guests, although additional beds can be added upon request. The tents are appointed with crisp white linens and equipped with en-suite bathrooms featuring showers, basins, and toilets, as well as gas heaters for warmth during winter nights.

The camp features a large lapa furnished with a lounge suite, a dining table, a flat-screen TV with DStv, and a fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove. Guests can relax on the lapa's sun deck, taking in the breathtaking views of the Palmiet River meandering through a spectacular green valley dotted with trees. Alternatively, they can wander down to the river for a sundowner cruise on a barge. During the day, hikers can explore the eco trails that ramble through the stunning estate.

The Elgin Valley offers plenty of events and attractions, and activities include canoeing, rowing, mountain biking trails, hiking, 4x4 routes, kloofing, and fishing. Each tent is comfortably furnished with beautiful queen-size or double beds sleeping two guests, and features a gas heater for cold winter evenings as well as an en-suite bathroom equipped with a shower, basin, and toilet.
