Emthanjeni Lodge is situated on a peaceful small holding in De Aar. The name "Emthanjeni" means "the vein" and refers to underground water. It offers an escape from city noise, providing a calm atmosphere with personal attention in a Karoo landscape that has been converted into a small oasis. Guests can breathe clean air, admire the Milky Way at night, and in summer, relax at the pool and barbecue area within the spacious garden.
The lodge offers 18 well-equipped rooms, each with a private entrance separate from the house, ensuring total privacy. Accommodation comprises double rooms as well as self-catering units. Amenities include tea and coffee-making facilities, cutlery and crockery, linen and towels, fridges, TV with local channels, air-conditioning, electric blankets, and daily room service.
