The Enaleni Guest Farm is a unique guesthouse located on a working agro-ecological farm, situated 6 km from the N3 between Durban and Pietermaritzburg. The accommodation is available on a bed and breakfast or self-catering basis, with all rooms being en-suite.

A major feature of the guesthouse is the dome in the main living area, where guests can sit in the lounge with an open fireplace during winter or relax on the stoep overlooking the garden and farm, with a 180-degree view. The majority of the meals served at the guesthouse are sourced fresh from the farm, ensuring a wholesome dining experience.

As a working farm, guests have the opportunity to experience life amongst the animals, which include a registered herd of Nguni cattle, endangered Zulu sheep, dogs, old-fashioned poultry, and a Spanish donkey named Gundagunda. Visitors can also take a stroll through the orchards or orchid houses.

The Enaleni Guest Farm has won the SAB 2011 Eat In Award for best South African Heritage Farm, as it is dedicated to preserving heritage by keeping a herd of Nguni cattle, endangered Zulu sheep, growing rare local maize varietals, and cultivating the traditional ibhece melon.

Visiting the Enaleni Guest Farm provides an opportunity to experience an unusual working example of agro-ecological farming, a type of farming that draws from the vibrant heritage of KwaZulu-Natal. The environment is restful and casual, surrounded by abundant agro-diversity.

The accommodation includes spacious rooms with queen-size beds and enchanting en-suite showers. The rooms share a communal area featuring a lounge, fireplace, and dining room underneath a huge dome with a clear skylight. There is also a covered patio with beautiful views in front of all rooms, and single beds are available.
