Evergreen River Guest Farm is a privately-owned establishment situated on the banks of the Groot Marico River, located 9 kilometers outside the small village of Groot Marico, along a 7-kilometer farm dirt road stretch. It is situated within the UNESCO-approved Marico Biosphere Reserve, approximately 2.5 hours' drive from Gauteng on the N4 Platinum Highway in the North West Province. The farm is situated 90 kilometers away from Rustenburg, 45 kilometers from Zeerust, and 2 hours from Gaborone.

The accommodation comprises an off-road caravan and tent campsite that can accommodate up to 30 guests, as well as three self-catering cottages suitable for up to 16 guests. The cottages on offer include Le Butterfly (sleeps 6), Star Gazer (sleeps 6), and Rain Lily (sleeps 4). All units are spacious, comfortable, and fully equipped, even providing a potjie pot, gas skottel braai, and gas stove with an oven.

Karee River Camp offers off-road and rooftop caravan and tenting stays within 40 meters of the Groot Marico River, which flows through the farm and is home to bass, barbel, and yellowfish. The camp is large and spacious, set in a beautiful nature spot that offers peace and tranquility. It is mountain-facing, with stunning sunrise and sunset views. Hot water is generated by a gas geyser, and while there is no electricity at the camp, there is an electrical point 200 meters away to charge appliances and equipment, as well as a fridge and freezer for guest use. The camp includes two undercover "camp base buildings" with a kitchen area, tables and chairs, shelves, a gas burner, gas for hot water, and solar lights. There is also an undercover toilet, shower, and braai area.

On-site facilities at Evergreen River Guest Farm include private natural rock splash pools at each cottage, indoor fireplaces, braai areas, secure parking, and pets by arrangement. Guests can enjoy fishing in the river, walking, cycling, stargazing, reading, camping, and having picnics by the river or at the nearby Groot Marico Eye, which offers scuba diving and snorkeling or swimming. Visitors can also pick citrus when in season or simply enjoy the unspoiled nature and peace and tranquility. Additional activities include booking massages or yoga sessions in the village of Groot Marico, having romantic picnics by the river, stargazing at the firepit under unpolluted skies, and enjoying the private outdoor facilities. Children can feed the poultry and pick citrus and nuts, and well-socialized, trained dogs are welcome by prior arrangement and upon payment of a once-off fee of R200 for the duration of the stay.
