Excelsior River Cottage

Excelsior River Cottage is situated on the banks of the Orange River, offering a spectacular view of the river. The cottage is located approximately 7 km outside of Prieska on the Douglas Road. It is an ideal destination for a weekend getaway, swimming, fishing trips, or a romantic stay at the riverside.

The self-catering cottage comprises two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen and lounge area. The first bedroom contains a double bed, while the second bedroom features twin single beds. Each room is equipped with air conditioning and electric blankets for colder winter nights.

The modern, spacious kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering purposes and includes a breakfast bar with stools. The comfortable lounge area is furnished with DStv. Braai facilities and wood are available upon request, as well as pre-packed braai packs. Breakfast can be supplied upon request.

Additionally, there is a self-catering unit on the farm that can accommodate four people. This unit consists of two bedrooms and one bathroom. One bedroom has a double bed, while the other bedroom has two single beds. It features an open-plan kitchen and living room area that opens out to a private courtyard with braai facilities via a sliding door. This unit does not offer a river view.
