Ezulwini Berg Resort

The Ezulwini Berg Resort is a family-oriented resort situated against the backdrop of the dramatic Northern Drakensberg Mountains, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The resort offers breathtaking views of the Amphitheatre, which is part of the Drakensberg mountain range. The term "Ezulwini" is a Zulu word meaning "heaven", and the resort aims to provide guests with a unique experience in their own piece of heaven.

The resort features a variety of self-catering chalets, including two-sleeper, four-sleeper, six-sleeper, and eight-sleeper units. All chalets are equipped with bedding, towels, and braai facilities. The two-sleeper units are designed specifically for couples and include a Queen bed, double shower, Jacuzzi bath, a fully fitted kitchen, and a small living room area with a television. The four-sleeper units have a Queen bed, a sleeper couch for children under 12, a fully fitted kitchen, and a walk-in shower room.

The six-sleeper units comprise a main bedroom with a Queen bed and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower, a bedroom with two single beds, an open-plan studio bedroom with two single beds, a second bathroom with a bathtub, a fully fitted kitchen, and a living room area with a television. The eight-sleeper units are similar but also include a sleeper couch for children under 12 in the living room area.

The Northern Drakensberg Area offers various activities for tourists, outdoor enthusiasts, and those seeking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. These activities include hiking, picnicking in the Ezemvelo Royal Natal National Park, and fishing in stocked trout dams located within the park and at the nearby Rugged Glen Dam and Sterkfontein Dam.
