Fairfield Cottages

Fairfield Cottages is situated on a 100-hectare operational fruit farm located at the foot of the Skurweberge Mountains. All the self-catering accommodation options offer breathtaking views of the mountains surrounding the Ceres valley. The vine-covered porches provide an ideal location to enjoy sundowners while watching the mountains bask in the pink afterglow of the setting sun or observe the full moon rising over the peaks.

Each season on the farm presents its own unique charm. In winter, the views feature snow-capped mountains and crystal-clear streams running past the cottages. Spring brings orchards adorned with pink and white blossoms, complemented by abundant wildflowers. Summer is ideal for the numerous activities available, while autumn transforms the nearby town, just 6 kilometers away, into a picturesque wonderland.

The farm offers a variety of activities, including hiking trails, mountain biking, fishing, canoeing, and bird watching. Fairfield is home to diverse wildlife, magnificent fynbos, two resident four-legged friends who pay friendly visits to guests, and a few horses. The self-catering accommodation is pet-friendly.

A rock bath, large enough for two people and a bottle of wine, is available. Guests can curl up in front of the fireplace in their cottage and listen to the water stream flowing next to some of the cottages as they fall asleep. The Fynbos cottage features a wood-fired hot tub, and the Ceres golf club is a 10-minute drive away.

The walking trails, canoeing, fishing, cycling, and swimming opportunities make Fairfield Cottages a haven for children. Young ones particularly enjoy the loft area of the Fynbos cottage, where a group of them can sleep and play. The Fynbos cottage includes two rooms with double beds, two bathrooms (one with a shower and one with a bath), a large loft with eight single beds, air conditioning in the loft, fans in the bedrooms, white linen and towels, an open-plan kitchen with a fire hearth and living area, and an enclosed backyard.
