Fairview Estates is a collection of working farms situated near Fouriesburg, bordering the Free State and Lesotho border. It consists of two areas: Inhoek, where the Twin Towers and Damn Caravan are located, and De Rust, where a cottage is situated. Farming activities at Fairview Estates include cattle, Estancia Alpacas, maize, and beans. The owners have also recently started breeding Appaloosa horses.

De Rust Farm Cottage offers a comfortable atmosphere and can only be accessed by a 4x2 diff-lock vehicle. The cottage features a kitchen equipped with a microwave, toaster, kettle, stove, cutlery, crockery, and a fridge-freezer. The lounge is furnished with comfortable couches and has a CD player. It has an indoor fireplace, an outdoor braai, and a Weber, though guests need to bring their own charcoal. A minimum charge of R1600 applies for this cottage.

The Twin Towers has four levels and is suitable for families or groups. It has an entertainment area with an eight-seater table and a gas braai, as well as a Weber available upon request. Both the cottage and the Twin Towers are supplied with oil heaters, electric blankets, linen, and towels. Cleaning services are available at an additional cost. The Twin Towers is not recommended for guests with children under the age of four due to the open spiral staircase. A minimum charge of R1800 applies for this unit.

The Damn Caravan is a converted park home located near the dam. It is beautifully decorated inside and operates on gas and candles only. The kitchen is equipped with a gas fridge-freezer and a gas stove. The lounge has a wood-burning stove, and there is an open-pit braai area. A minimum charge of R1520 applies for this unit.

The sandstone house, Opstal, offers guests six bedrooms with three bathrooms. Linen and electrical blankets are provided. The fully equipped kitchen allows guests to enjoy meals in the dining room. The lounge has a fireplace, and braai facilities are available on the veranda. The house can be serviced at R120 per day, with a minimum charge of R1800 per day.

No formal activities are arranged, but guests can visit nearby attractions such as the Ash River Outfall near Clarens, the Basotho Cultural Village, and the Bushmen Paintings at Schaapplaat. The working farms of Fairview Estates offer breathtaking scenery and the chance to escape from civilization.
