Fancy Free Fly Fishing Retreat

Fancy Free Fly Fishing Retreat is a self-catering resort offering tranquil accommodation for fly-fishing enthusiasts. The property has four comfortable units, including a six-sleeper and three four-sleeper cottages, each fully equipped for self-catering. Each unit provides braai facilities and spectacular views over the lakes.

The main activity at the retreat is fly-fishing, where catch and release is practiced, and any fish kept will be charged. The accommodation prices include personal rod fees. The resort features a magnificent environment of indigenous bush and water, offering excellent fly-fishing opportunities in nine unspoilt trout dams teeming with both rainbow and brown trout, as well as three Bass dams. The area also provides an idyllic setting for picnics, sundowners, and interesting walks.

It is important to note that no pets are allowed at the retreat, and single nights are not permitted. Guests occupying a unit alone will be charged a single supplement. One of the cottages, situated close to the water's edge, sleeps four guests comfortably in two cozy bedrooms, a Double and a Twin or two Doubles, both with en-suite bathrooms. The cottage includes a well-equipped kitchen, a lounge area, and indoor fireplace for cold evenings, as well as private outdoor boma and braai facilities.
