Fernhill Guest Farm is situated outside Knysna in the beautiful Rheenendal area, known for its ancient forests, cycling, and hiking trails. It is a 15-minute drive from Knysna and Buffels Bay beach, and 20 minutes away from Sedgefield's popular Saturday Wild Oats Market. The fully self-catering cottages have a stoep overlooking the farm camps where cows graze peacefully, creating a perfect setting to slow down and enjoy a braai with friends and family.

Each cottage has a kitchen, a main bedroom with a double bed, and a second room with two single beds, making it an ideal family destination. There is also a wood fireplace in the lounge to keep warm on colder winter nights. The farm offers beautiful walking trails on its 56ha property, and guests are welcome to bring their dogs for a nominal fee as the fully fenced cottages are pet-friendly.

The area is popular with mountain bikers, and Fernhill Guest Farm is situated in a conservancy with free-roaming wildlife such as bushbuck, bush pigs, leopards, monkeys, baboons, porcupines, and a variety of birds. The cottages are ideal for families, with each having a fenced garden and separate entrance. They can accommodate up to five persons per two-bedroom cottage and are on one level with no stairs. Children can interact with some of the farm animals during their stay.
