Fiddlers Rest is a distinguished bed and breakfast establishment located in upper Morningside, one of Durban's most prestigious addresses. The property, a grand English-style mansion dating from the 1950s, was originally built by Hilton Rich of Beechway Motors and later owned by former Durban Mayor Raoul Goldman before being acquired by Tony and Lilian, the current proprietors, in 1986.

The establishment features three luxury suites, each with private entrances and fully equipped with modern amenities including television, refrigerator, and air-conditioning. The property boasts lush tropical gardens teeming with birdlife and overlooks the famous Mitchell Park, sharing a boundary with "Kings House," the President's Durban residence. One suite offers two adjoining rooms with shared bathroom facilities, featuring a queen-size bed in one room and a double bed in the other, with the option of an additional single bed if required.
