Field's Rest is a bed and breakfast establishment located in Walmer, in close proximity to Port Elizabeth Airport. It offers three accommodation options: the Courtyard (double) room, the Garden Cottage, and the Apartment.

The Courtyard room features a private entrance, a double bed with high-quality linen, a desk area suitable for working with complimentary Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV with DStv, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The room is equipped with a fridge, kettle, microwave, and cutlery as well as crockery. It opens onto a quaint courtyard with a bench for dining and relaxing.

The Garden Cottage is a private unit with its own patio and garden area. It comprises a comfortable bedroom, a living room area with a dining table and a couch, and a fully self-catering kitchen with a fridge, gas stove, microwave, and other necessary appliances, cooking items, and utensils. The bathroom has a shower.

Guests staying in the Courtyard Room and the Garden Cottage can opt for a tasty light breakfast at an additional cost. Braai facilities are available for both rooms, and they come standard with Wi-Fi and full DStv.

The Apartment is located at Madison on First, approximately 350 meters from Field's Rest reception. This beautifully furnished self-catering unit features one bedroom, an open-plan lounge/dining room/kitchen, and a full bathroom with a shower and bath. For warm days, there is a balcony with braai facilities for outdoor relaxation. DStv (satellite) TV is available, and free Wi-Fi is now offered. This unit is self-catering only, but a popular restaurant is within a 3-minute walk and is open for breakfast until supper.

Please note that Field's Rest does not have credit card facilities, and terms and conditions of occupation apply. Walmer attractions include numerous popular restaurants and coffee shops, Walmer Park shopping center, Algoa Grand Prix Indoor Go-Karting, and Victoria Park. The airport, the Boardwalk entertainment center, and other beachfront attractions are just a 5-minute drive away.
