Fires Mountain Lodge offers self-catering log cabins situated against the slopes of the Waterberg Mountains. The cabins overlook the Magliesberg Mountains, the valley at Saartjiesnek Pass, and the Hartbeespoort Dam. The lodge provides direct access to various activities in the area.

The lodge features a swimming pool with a 180-degree view, situated in a well-established sub-tropical garden. The large pool is positioned among rocks, palms, and indigenous plants. Children using the pool must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

Fires Mountain Lodge has six beautifully constructed wooden, open-plan, self-catering chalets. Each chalet is fully equipped and can accommodate either two, four, or eight guests. The chalets also offer a private sun deck with a braai area and superb panoramic views of the villages, dam, and mountains. Guests can enjoy breathtaking sunsets throughout the year.

Visitors can experience the serene atmosphere while walking among the sub-tropical gardens, where they can observe various bird and small wild animal species in the splendor of this tranquil garden setting. Over 100 bird species have been identified in the garden.

The surrounding area offers activities such as restaurants for breakfast and lunch, the Ennis Wedding and Conference Centre, the Ring Ox Wagon Museum, a Pick n Pay center, fishing at Meerhof, boat trips and slipways at Meerhof, cruises on the dam, a garden pots factory, a fresh water aquarium, a snake and animal park, the dam wall, and the Henops Lion Park.

The cabins are fully equipped for self-catering and feature an open-plan design with a private verandah. The cabins are situated on the mountain side of the garden against the rocky mountain slope, amidst the trees.
