Fisaasbos

Fisaasbos is a location derived from the phrase 'Fisante Bos', meaning 'Pheasant's Bush'. It is situated on Remhoogte, a working fruit farm located in the cul de sac of the Tulbagh valley. The farm harvests apples, pears, cling peaches, and a significant amount of prunes.

The recently renovated thatched cottage on the property, which overlooks the valley and is guarded by the peaks of the Winterhoek, has served as a secondary house and bachelor's cottage for the main farm since the 1940s. The cottage is an extended rondawel structure with three round bedrooms: two double rooms and one room accommodating four individuals on bunk beds. One of the double rooms features a fireplace, while the other has an en-suite bathroom with a shower and bath. A second bathroom serves the remaining occupants. All linens and towels are provided.
