Fisaasbos, whose name originates from 'Fisante Bos' (meaning Pheasant's Bush), is situated on Remhoogte, a productive fruit farm in the Tulbagh valley cul-de-sac. The farm specializes in cultivating apples, pears, cling peaches, and has a substantial prune production.
The property features a renovated thatched cottage that has been part of the farm since the 1940s, serving as both a secondary residence and bachelor's accommodation. Positioned on a hilltop with panoramic valley views and surrounded by the Winterhoek peaks, the cottage is designed as an extended rondawel with three circular bedrooms. The accommodation comprises two double rooms and one room with bunk beds accommodating four people. One double room includes a fireplace, while the other features an en-suite bathroom equipped with both shower and bath facilities. A second bathroom serves the remaining guests. The establishment provides all necessary linens and towels for visitors' convenience.
