Fisherman's Cottage

The Fisherman's Cottage is a self-catering accommodation located in Gansbaai, South Africa, approximately 200 meters from the sea. It offers a peaceful escape from the bustling city life, immersed in the natural, rugged, and unspoiled beauty of the area. The cottage can accommodate two guests and provides a fully equipped kitchen with amenities such as a hob, oven, kettle, microwave, and refrigerator. Additionally, it features a portable braai (grill) facility to enjoy a traditional South African barbecue experience.

The bedroom is furnished with a double bed and includes full DStv (digital satellite TV), while linen and towels are supplied for the guests' convenience. The modern bathroom is equipped with a shower, hand basin, and toilet. In the living area, there is an open-plan layout with a TV.

Gansbaai is renowned for its exceptional land-based whale watching opportunities, offering breathtaking views of these majestic creatures from the spectacular cliffs of De Kelders to the white sandy beaches of Pearly Beach. Visitors can also embark on excursions to Dyer Island, known as the great white shark capital of the world, where they can witness the mysterious and graceful great white sharks in their natural habitat. Additionally, the nearby Shark Alley is a hotspot for observing an abundance of seals, which attract the presence of great white sharks.
