Fisherman's Watch Cottage

A modern garden flat, known as Fisherman's Watch Cottage, is situated on the Fish Hoek mountainside, offering a spectacular view. The lovely self-catering cottage can accommodate up to three guests comfortably. It features a separate entrance and includes a bedroom, lounge area, an en-suite bathroom, and a fully fitted kitchen with most facilities, including a washing machine, hob, oven, microwave, and refrigerator.

The accommodation is equipped with internet access through Wi-Fi and a full package DStv HD satellite television. Additionally, a full solar and storage system provides complete off-the-grid backup in the event of load shedding or power failure, ensuring that lights, TV, Wi-Fi, and most appliances can be operated during blackouts.

Located in the beautiful South Peninsula, the cottage is just a short drive from Cape Town. Situated on the mountainside, it offers magnificent views of the Blue Flag Fish Hoek beach, sea, and the majestic surrounding mountains. The cottage provides a peaceful space, with a small, sheltered entertainment area overlooking the sea and a mainly indigenous garden. Well away from busy traffic, the quiet peace of the site is only broken by the sound of the waves coming up from the sea below.

Access to the beach and catwalk is a 10-minute walk or a 5-minute drive from the cottage. Guests have full access to the cottage and all its amenities. However, it is important to note that wheelchair access is not possible due to the cottage's location on the side of the mountain, with access via a relatively easy flight of around 34 stairs.
