Flamingo Lodge

Flamingo Lodge is one of the most distinctive guest lodges in Umhlanga Rocks. It consists of seven en-suite rooms tastefully decorated and one self-catering unit, all of which open out onto private patios. The lodge is situated a mere 200 meters from the main swimming beaches.

Flamingo Lodge is located 30 minutes north of Durban International Airport and a 10-minute drive from Durban city center. It is situated two minutes' walk from the main protected bathing beach and within walking distance of all pubs, restaurants, shopping centers, and the vibrant nightlife. For sporting enthusiasts, the lodge is a stone's throw away from the Umhlanga Country Club, which offers tennis and bowls facilities. The ski-boat club has deep-sea fishing trips available on request, and scuba diving facilities are close by. Alternatively, guests can relax and laze by the swimming pool. The lodge accepts children of all ages.

It is mentioned that Flamingo Lodge is the closest guest house and B&B establishment to the Blue Flag main Umhlanga Rocks bathing beach, situated 200 meters away. The ground-floor rooms contain either a double bed or twin beds, and each room features an en-suite bathroom with a shower.
