Fonteintjies

Fonteintjies is a self-catering accommodation located approximately 4 km from the coastal village of Vleesbaai. It is situated on an 8-hectare property within the Fransmanshoek Conservancy. The spacious house provides picturesque surroundings, surrounded by natural dunes and fynbos vegetation, and offers breathtaking sea views.

The accommodation can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests in three beautifully appointed bedrooms, each sleeping 2 individuals. Additionally, there is a dormitory-style annex a few meters away from the main house, featuring bunk beds for 4 additional guests.

Guests at Fonteintjies have exclusive access to a private footpath leading to a secluded beach. The property provides a tranquil environment within the nature conservancy. Please note that pets are not allowed, and smoking is strictly prohibited indoors. Special celebrations may be accommodated upon request, provided both the house and annex are reserved. Additional charges may apply for this service.

The garden and braai area are shared between different groups occupying the main house and the annex. However, the deck is exclusively reserved for use by guests staying in the house, while the annex features its own private courtyard.

The main house features a well-appointed shared bathroom with a bathtub, shower, and hand basin, along with a separate toilet. The fully equipped kitchen offers modern amenities, including a dishwasher. The spacious dining and living areas provide ample space to enjoy meals or engage in board games from an extensive selection. The sun room serves as a perfect sanctuary to relax with a good book while enjoying the awe-inspiring views.

The annex features a convenient kitchenette equipped with a fridge, microwave, kettle, and coffee plunger. It also features a cozy TV corner, a toilet, and access to a shower across the courtyard. Both the main house and the annex have access to free Wi-Fi and complimentary parking.

The property offers various entertainment options, including an OpenView satellite decoder, a Chromecast device for streaming videos, and a DVD player in the main house. The annex's TV only has a Chromecast device and does not receive TV reception or have a DVD player.

Situated within the Fransmanshoek nature conservancy, Fonteintjies offers easy access to the surrounding attractions. Vleesbaai is just a short drive away, while Mossel Bay is located 30 km from the property. Popular destinations along the Garden Route, such as Knysna and Plettenberg Bay, are within reachable distance for day trips. Oudtshoorn, famous for its ostrich farms and stunning landscapes, is also easily accessible from Fonteintjies.
