Forest Lodge

Forest Lodge is a newly constructed upmarket lodge located in a natural forest within the town of St Lucia, situated in the iSimangaliso World Heritage Site. The architecture of the building is of a high standard and exhibits a modern, contemporary style. The lodge has been designed with the aim of providing luxury and comfort to all its guests.

Forest Lodge features 17 luxurious en-suite rooms, each equipped with either a double bed or twin single beds. All rooms are furnished with a bar fridge and complimentary tea and coffee facilities. Additionally, Family Units are available, consisting of two rooms connected to a private lounge or kitchen area.

Breakfast is served in the formal dining room, and dinner is available upon request. Guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi access throughout the premises of the lodge.

For guests seeking outdoor leisure, Forest Lodge has a sun deck area situated away from the forest. The sun deck is also the venue for cultural evenings organized by the lodge, which include free Zulu language classes, Zulu dance performances, Zulu beer tastings, and traditional braai events. The owners of Forest Lodge also operate a safari company, offering guided tours to the Umfolozi Hluhluwe Park and the iSimangaliso World Heritage Park.

Forest Lodge provides air-conditioned family apartments with two bedrooms, each featuring twin beds and an en-suite shower room. These apartments are fully equipped for self-catering, with amenities such as a microwave, stove, toaster, kettle, and refrigerator, as well as crockery and cutlery. The apartments also include a table and chairs on the balcony, and a lounge area with a TV.
