Fossil Hills Farm Cottage

Fossil Hills Farm Cottage is a self-catering accommodation situated in a private nature reserve in the Karoo region. The cottage is located in a valley surrounded by rugged mountainous scenery formed by Paleozoic sedimentary rocks dating back to 355 million years ago. The valley can be visited throughout the year, with each season revealing its unique natural beauty, making it suitable for activities such as bird watching, hiking, fishing, picnics, cycling, and relaxation.

The Fossil Hills Cottage is a fully equipped farm cottage with two bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower and bath, an open-plan lounge and kitchen, a cozy fireplace, and a patio. It can accommodate up to four people. The cottage is equipped with both indoor and outdoor fireplaces, as well as braai facilities. The well-known McGregor cellar, the Donkey Sanctuary, and the charming village of McGregor are all within a 3-kilometer radius of the cottage. It offers a private and perfect setting for a getaway weekend or holiday.

Additionally, the property features the Albatross Cottage, which consists of one double bed, an en-suite bathroom with a shower, an indoor and outdoor fireplace with a braai, and includes the use of the property's specialty wood-fired hot tubs.
