Fourways Backpackers Lodge

Fourways Backpackers Lodge is situated in Fourways, South Africa. It offers affordable and simple accommodation in the third person. The lodge specializes in accommodating large groups and travelers staying for extended periods, with contract accommodation available for up to two months. Different rates are applicable for daily, weekly, and monthly bookings.

The boarding house provides guests with the choice of staying in rooms, some of which are en-suite, or in backpacker dormitories. Please note that there are live-in boarders who will share facilities with guests. The rooms are basic and clean, and bedding such as sheets, pillows, duvets, or comforters are provided. All rooms are furnished with double or twin beds, and some rooms have en-suite bathrooms with showers, while others share the use of a bathroom consisting of a shower and toilet. The dormitories are furnished with bunk beds and share the use of separate men's and ladies' bathrooms.

Kitchen facilities are available, but guests will need to hire cooking utensils, cutlery, and crockery at an additional rate of R200, which is refunded upon return. Guests can relax by reading a book from the large swop-out library selection, watching satellite TV, or playing pool in the common room. The porch overlooks the swimming pool, and barbecue facilities are available for use.

Internet and Wi-Fi are also available, and guests can use their private laptops or the house's computers at an additional fee. Business facilities such as printing, copying, and faxing are also available. The boarding house is serviced, and cleaning items are available should something need to be cleaned. The caretaker lives on the premises should guests need any assistance, and they can ask for support at the reception for any travel information. The lodge offers 24-hour shuttle services and airport shuttle services upon request.

All common areas are cleaned once a day, and guests can request support if they find that someone has left a mess so that a cleaner can be allocated to rectify this immediately. After cleaning, guests are asked to clean up after themselves. Please note that children are only allowed without supervision. Parking is available in a separate part of the property that is enclosed and has a large sliding gate. Entry to the premises is gained through a digital access gate and fingerprint unit.
