Fox Den

The Fox Den is located 3 kilometers off the N1 highway in the town of Trompsburg, situated 110 kilometers north of Colesberg and 120 kilometers south of Bloemfontein. Its position is convenient for individuals seeking a relaxing stopover during travels between the northern and southern regions of the country. The establishment offers thirteen self-catering units that can comfortably accommodate groups ranging from two to six guests per unit.

All units are equipped with bathrooms featuring showers, and the kitchens are fully furnished for self-catering purposes. Each unit is outfitted with a DSTV decoder providing access to the Hotel package channels, as well as ceiling fans. Linens and towels are provided for the convenience of guests. The Fox Den invites visitors to enjoy starry nights accompanied by cozy fires and delectable Karoo lamb dishes, with braai packs available for purchase on-site (advance arrangements are recommended). Alternatively, guests can explore the restaurant in town or the nearby bakery.

Complimentary breakfast options are offered in the form of a health breakfast consisting of muffins, yogurt, cereal, muesli, and juice. Complimentary coffee and tea are available within the units. Facilities on-site include secure parking, private entrances, tea and coffee-making facilities in each unit, televisions in each unit, braai/barbecue areas, hunting opportunities within a 30-kilometer radius, and fully equipped kitchens.
