Fraai Uitzicht 1798 is a historic wine and guest farm located in the heart of the Robertson Valley on Route 62, nestled among the Langeberg hills in Klaas Voogds East, Montagu, South Africa. The estate features an award-winning restaurant and offers a genuine vineyard experience in the Cape Winelands region.

The property boasts beautifully appointed guest accommodations overlooking the Robertson Wine Valley, Sonderend Mountains, fruit orchards, olive trees, and vineyards. The accommodation options include various cottages and suites, each uniquely designed and furnished. Merlot and Shiraz are Cape Dutch-style cottages featuring open reed ceilings, modern interiors, French doors opening onto verandas, fireplaces, music stations, and televisions.

Cabernet and Sauvignon cottages, situated beside the Historic Wine Cellar, maintain their original 1800s charm with wooden ceilings and natural colors. These units offer two-bedroom configurations, with Sauvignon being a family cottage and Cabernet designed as a honeymoon cottage with a gallery bedroom.

The Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, Colombar, and Riesling units provide individually appointed accommodation with private entrances, spacious bedrooms, and modern en-suite facilities. These rooms feature king-sized beds that can be converted to twins. The Viognier suite, while smaller, offers a cozy atmosphere with a queen-sized bed and private garden area.

All units are equipped with honesty bars, complimentary tea and coffee-making facilities, and climate control systems. The bathrooms feature unique designs, including open showers and distinctive bathing facilities, some offering views of the Langeberg mountains.
