Frog Mountain Getaway is a spectacular 41-hectare family farm nestled in an emerald valley within the Langeberg Mountains of the Western Cape, South Africa, just 18km outside the historic town of Swellendam. The property, under new ownership since February 2019, includes a 1/16th undivided share of over 2000 hectares of wild nature that stretches from its border into the mountains.

The retreat offers six private, self-catering accommodations that can host up to 45 guests in total. The property features three small thatched rondavels with cozy sleeping lofts, ideal for couples or small families, furnished with luxurious touches including Egyptian cotton linens. The largest accommodation is a 12-sleeper luxury farmhouse with a private pool and fully fenced yard. All units are lovingly decorated and maintained to high standards.

This pet-friendly establishment welcomes well-socialized dogs, with a maximum of two per house. The property maintains a strict no-music policy unless the entire farm is booked, making it ideal for family gatherings rather than parties.

Natural attractions include a river running through the property, a waterfall, rock pools, and a dam for fishing. Guests can enjoy various activities including paddling on the river, exploring the waterfall, stargazing, and relaxing in wood-fired hot tubs. The farm also features Nguni cattle grazing in the green fields, adding to its authentic farm atmosphere.
