Gable Manor

Gable Manor is a stylish and modern guest house featuring luxurious fittings, furnishings, and spacious air-conditioned rooms with comfortable beds. It offers an atmosphere of relaxation and understated elegance in a classic Cape Dutch architecturally-styled house located in the village of Franschhoek.

The accommodation comprises two suites and four bedrooms, all equipped with air-conditioning, high-quality king-size or twin beds, crisp white percale linen, soft gowns, individual satellite TV, tea and coffee trays, carpets, safes, UK wall plugs, and hairdryers. The decor follows a theme of understated elegance, with each room having its own distinctive character, complemented by Balinese furniture that matches the gentle colors used. The modern en-suite bathrooms feature stylish terracotta tiles and unique backlit mirrors, along with power showers, heated towel rails, bath sheets, and bath towels.

Breakfast offerings include a selection of cereals, fresh fruit juices, yogurt, fresh fruit salads, dried fruits, hams, salamis, a wide cheese selection, and homemade breads and produce prepared with homegrown herbs, accompanied by a selection of fine teas and filter coffee. Guests can relax and chat over coffee after breakfast, meet in the lounge before visits, unwind and read a book, or enjoy a glass of wine before going to dinner in a pleasant room that is cool in the summer and well-heated in the winter. Outdoor areas include a solar-heated pool and a stunning pool lounge with a library and selection of games.

Additionally, a separate self-catering cottage offers two bedrooms with queen-size beds, a mezzanine open room with two single beds, an open-plan dining and kitchen area, and a spacious lounge. The cottage features north and east covered patios and is situated in a beautiful garden. Gable Manor is a non-smoking establishment with a minimum stay requirement of two nights all year round. The establishment does not allow children under 12 or pets.
