Gables B & B

Gables B&B is an establishment founded in 2019, situated in George on the tranquil Garden Route in South Africa. Its location is ideal, being seven kilometers from the George Airport and seven kilometers from the town center. It is situated a mere 300 meters away from the renowned Fancourt resort.

Gables B&B offers five modernly furnished rooms, one of which is wheelchair-friendly. Additionally, there is a self-catering flatlet available with a separate lounge area and kitchenette. The establishment can accommodate up to 13 people across its six rooms, which consist of three twin rooms (two of which can be converted into king rooms), two queen rooms, and one self-catering unit that sleeps three people.

All bedrooms are en-suite with showers and are equipped with air conditioning, DStv (satellite TV), Wi-Fi, hairdryers, tea/coffee making facilities, and cupboards. The establishment prides itself on using pure cotton percale linen and high-quality towels. A continental breakfast is included in the rate, while an English breakfast is available for an additional fee of R85.00. Guests can also opt for a lunch or dinner menu, which must be ordered in advance.

Free and secure parking is available at Gables B&B, and guests are welcome to relax on the terrace and enjoy the magnificent mountain views. The establishment has a generator, which is used during peak hours of load shedding to ensure uninterrupted power supply for TV, lights, and Wi-Fi in all rooms. During non-peak load shedding periods, all rooms have emergency lights and Wi-Fi (subject to battery life).
