Gabus Safari Lodge is a family-owned establishment situated 10km from Otavi in central-northern Namibia, approximately 4.5 hours from Windhoek's Hosea Kutako International Airport. Established in 1995, the lodge is set within a 6200-hectare private game reserve, nestled between mountain ranges offering spectacular natural scenery.

The property features 16 rooms and 2 campsites, providing various accommodation options including luxury rooms with waterhole views, family rooms, and camping facilities. The luxury rooms are modern, spacious units offering direct views of the lodge's waterhole, while the family rooms are specially designed with two bedrooms and an adjoining bathroom, accommodating families with up to two children under 12 years.

The reserve is home to diverse wildlife, including giraffes, elands, mountain zebras, waterbucks, black wildebeest, oryx, and impala. Predators such as leopards, cheetahs, and spotted hyenas are also present, though sightings are rare. The lodge's waterhole is illuminated at night, allowing for 24-hour wildlife viewing opportunities depending on seasonal migrations.

Activities available include horse riding, safari game drives, guided hiking trails, and bush breakfasts. Guests can also participate in external activities such as visits to a local wine farm or the Hoba Meteorite. The lodge is positioned 1.5 hours from the Von Lindequist gate near Namutoni on the eastern side of Etosha National Park.

The facility features a restaurant offering homemade meals, an outdoor terrace overlooking the waterhole, a swimming pool, and complimentary fiber WiFi throughout the property. The dining experience includes buffet-style dinner service, though outdoor dining is weather-dependent.
