Galene

Galene is a self-catering family house situated directly on the beach in the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast region. The house allows guests to step from the deck straight onto the sand. It can accommodate up to 14 people in seven bedrooms and comprises seven bathrooms, two lounges, and an open-plan kitchen and dining area. The swimming pool overlooks the ocean, and the private beach is suitable for swimming, fishing, and snorkelling.

For first-time guests, a refundable breakage deposit of R1000 is required upon check-in and will be refunded within 48 hours of departure. If more than 14 people check in, the management reserves the right to ask all guests to leave immediately without a refund. Additional visitors are not allowed unless permission is granted by the manager or owner of Galene Beach House.

The Port Shepstone Country Club golf course is located within 5 km of the beach house. The property is ideal for families, with six bedrooms and three living areas, providing ample space to avoid feeling cramped. It offers 360-degree views of the ocean, and guests can step off the deck onto the sand. Rock pools in the area offer ideal paddling and swimming spots for both young and old, with the protection of the reef.

The house has six bedrooms, four bathrooms, two lounges, an open-plan dining area, and a covered verandah from which guests can enjoy magnificent sea views and the sound of the ocean. There is a dip swimming pool on the deck with an optional pool net.
