Gannabos Guest House

Gariep Eco Reserve's Gannabos Guest House is located in the expansive Gariep Karoo near Venterstad and the Gariep Dam in South Africa's Eastern Cape. This working farm offers visitors an authentic experience of the South African heartland, characterized by starlit nights and sun-drenched days in unspoiled natural surroundings.

The property operates under a holistic management approach that minimizes environmental impact while allowing guests to experience Africa's spectacular wildlife. The establishment is situated on Badsfontein Farm, providing a peaceful retreat in the vast Karoo landscape.

The accommodation comprises four distinct units. Buffalo Cottage features two single beds and two bunk beds, with a full bathroom including bath and shower, underfloor heating, and an open-plan kitchen and seating area, accommodating up to six guests. Eland Cottage offers similar amenities with two single beds and one bunk bed, also sleeping up to six people. Two additional rooms are available: Room 1 provides a double bed with en-suite bathroom facilities, while Room 2 includes a double bed, cot, and en-suite bathroom. Both rooms feature coffee-making facilities and can accommodate two guests each.
