The Garden Route Game Lodge is a private game reserve situated in a malaria-free area, located approximately 3-and-a-half hours' drive from Cape Town. It is set against the backdrop of the majestic Langeberg mountain range and guards the entrance to South Africa's world-famous Garden Route Coast. The game reserve is home to an abundance of animal and bird life, including the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard).

The establishment underwent renovations in 2010 and currently comprises 34 accommodation units. It offers various amenities and facilities, including internet access, wireless internet in public areas, a balcony, a restaurant, a cafu00e9, a bar, a souvenir shop, shopping facilities, a playground, an attractive garden, a playroom, parking spaces, childcare services, room service, and a laundry.

The accommodation units are equipped with air conditioning, fans, bathrooms, balconies or terraces (in most units), sofa beds, cots for children, safes, minibars, fridges, microwaves, and tea and coffee-making facilities. Each unit also features a telephone, TV, and DVD player, while the bathrooms are fitted with showers, bathtubs, and hairdryers. Special family rooms are available for families with children.

The lodge offers various leisure and recreational activities, such as a children's pool, a terrace with sun loungers and parasols, a poolside bar, golf, horse riding, a spa, a beauty salon, and massage treatments. Dining options include breakfast, lunch, dinner, and half board, with vegetarian dishes available upon request. Guests can also enjoy show cooking, where chefs create delicious specialities.

Professional and skilled therapists aim to rejuvenate guests' minds, bodies, and souls. Additionally, thrilling game drives in open Landrovers led by experienced game rangers offer sightings of various animals, including lions, elephants, white rhinos, buffaloes, cheetahs, and more.

The Kids on Safari activity program allows parents some alone time while children participate in supervised outdoor activities. Exclusive accommodation is provided in luxury thatched chalets with en-suite bathrooms, designed to offer guests complete comfort and relaxation in a beautiful setting, with twin or double beds.
