Garingboom Guest Farm

Garingboom Guest Farm is an eco-friendly Karoo sheep farm located in the Southern Free State, 150 km south of Bloemfontein on the N1. It offers two self-catering cottages and three en-suite cottages. Two trails on the farm provide opportunities for birding and walking independently.

The accommodation consists of comfortable, fully equipped, two-bedroom cottages situated under shady trees. Each unit is equipped with air-conditioning, a TV, kitchenette, fridge, barbecue facilities, and covered parking. Breakfast and special Karoo lamb dinners are also available for guests.

Over 140 species of birds have been listed on the farm, including the burchell's courser, layard's titbabler, blue korhaan, rock pipit, and other Karoo specials. Riu221au00b4tte, an experienced birder, can arrange special birding trips, horse rides, and dragonfly spotting activities.

The succulent shop on the premises is open from 8:00 until 17:00. Additionally, there is a family cottage available with two bedrooms, a kitchenette, a living area, a double bed, two single beds, and a bathroom with a shower.
