Glenogle Farm

Glenogle Farm is a privately owned property situated among the pine plantations in the mountainous region of Magoebaskloof. The picturesque farm features a magnificent dam stocked with trout, horses, and two luxury self-catering units, namely The Stables and The Loft.

The Loft is an exclusive romantic hideaway, ideal for honeymooners or those celebrating an anniversary or special occasion. It is a luxuriously appointed, self-catering suite hidden in the pine forest overlooking the dam. This enchanting space comprises a bedroom, stylish living area, fully equipped country kitchen, full bathroom, and a private deck. Both the bedroom and living area offer exquisite views of the forest and dam.

The Stables is a luxury, double-story, self-catering guest house situated between the horse paddock and stables. It has two bedrooms, one bathroom, and can comfortably accommodate four guests. A cozy country atmosphere has been created using a combination of warm textured fabrics and personally collected antiques, some with a history from the area.

Downstairs, the stylish open-plan space includes a lounge with a large open feature fireplace, a dining area with a vaulted ceiling, and a well-equipped kitchen with a gas hob and convection microwave. Large feature double doors open out on both sides of the living area, one leading to a patio with a private garden and picnic bench, and the other opening directly onto the stable courtyard, where guests can meet the farm horses.

A spiral staircase leads upstairs to the comfortably appointed bedrooms and bathroom. The main bedroom has a king-size bed, while the second bedroom has two single beds. The modern bathroom features a large shower, toilet, and bathroom vanity.

Other features include quality linen, blankets, and towels; electric blankets and hot water bottles; a large flat-screen TV with DSTV (The Stables only); a Weber braai with complimentary charcoal; complimentary firewood; complimentary WiFi; daily servicing; and trout fishing (catch and release only).
