Golden Sunset - Dirk Se Huisie

Golden Sunset offers comfortable accommodation in a quaint cottage called Dirk se Huisie, which is located on a working farm called Looprivier, approximately 190 km from Cape Town. The cosy cottage can comfortably accommodate two adults and four children. Dirk se Huisie dates back to the early 1900s and features a large enclosed fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen with a wooden dining table and chairs. There is no electricity, and only gas is available. The kitchen area is equipped with a two-plate gas stove and a gas fridge-freezer. Guests are required to bring their bedding, drinks, and food. The cottage is wheelchair accessible.

Golden Sunset is a romantic retreat for couples, offering endless sunsets and beautiful surroundings. Guests can enjoy hiking trails to the waterfall or mountain biking on the jeep tracks. The cottage is completely private and provides a relaxing and safe environment. The cosy cottage has two bedrooms: the main bedroom has a double bed, and the second bedroom has two bunk beds. The bathroom has a large shower, and there is an additional outdoor shower.
